uFOSTERsuccess is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We have a very active membership reserved exclusively for those who were formerly in foster care (please see about us). We offer memberships free of charge to any foster alumni from any state and of any age.

Our objectives focus on (i) building awareness of foster care issues by educating foster care professionals including building links to the community, and (ii) getting youth currently in foster care and foster alumni involved in helping to improve the system. We have made tremendous strides in our goals as you can see on our objectives page.

We are now focusing on our 2008 plans. As foster alumni ourselves we believe we are in a unique position to make a difference for youth aging out of foster care now.

uFOSTERsuccess continues to work towards its calling of bringing the voices of the child client constituency forward and enabling youth that are aging out of foster care to reach their full potential. In 2008, the organization will devote time and resource to take the next step in its development by expanding organizational capabilities and increasing the impact and scope of programs. Some of these steps include expanding the board of directors, continuing fundraising efforts, and finding and employing a permanent full-time executive director.
